7 Year Bitch

I randomly found this... I'm speechless.

How did they get a record deal? Haha, the lyrics are so juvenile. I'm pretty sure I wrote something similar in 4th grade.

Shhh

This is probably one of my favorite videos of all time.

Bjork is pretty fucking weird. But she is so amazing and unique. I love it.

Today is prep day.

The older I get, the more that I know and it's time to let this go.

I love his skills.

I really suck when it comes to baking. But, I've never been good at it. One time in high school, Stephanie Marion and I were baking cookies for Harry Varner. Chocolate chip cookies. We pulled them out of the oven and it looked like a a big brownie floating in a pool of butter. No joke.

I tried baking chocolate cupcakes last night. They are so bitter. But... I went out and bought more eggs so I can keep practicing.

My new roomie is named Mike. Go figure, story of my life.

Love love love this song. The acoustic version that is on my phone is even better. :-)

Apparently a group of 12 cows or more is called a flink. Thank you Ben.

Say Anything

I love his voice.

This weekend was amazing. Honestly, it couldn't have been better. :-) I'm not going to go in to detail about anything yet, but this week has had a great start. And Say Anything is the shit.

In a window over the 99 cent store...

It is 4 am and I cannot sleep. I blame technology for keeping me up. Regina Spektor has such a pretty voice. Her compilations are pretty unique compared to the average indie artist. So this is what I am doing rather than sleeping. :-)

I love that she sounds the same live as she does on her CDs.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I did!

Sia "Breathe Me"

Listen to Sia "Breathe Me" It's amazing.

Liz and I went to the river last night after tech rehearsal. We ate our food on the stage after we found a spot with zero bird poop. I sat and watched a spider build a web for a good 5 minutes while Liz scampered off to reenact a scene from Titanic by the waterfall. And then Liz discovered an open door and we creeped around for a bit in places we weren't supposed to be. She looked like a bum and I looked like Where's Waldo.

Then we drove home with Sia.

Amazing night. Actually the past couple of nights have been pretty perfect.

I cannot post the original music video because of those pesky copyright laws. So thanks to the avid YouTuber that ignored Sia and her request to disable the code to embed her videos.

Have an awesome day.

:-)

That's right...

...I'm going to be Jem for Halloween. You know, the 80's cartoon that featured Jem and the Holograms. I was first introduced to Jem, not in the 80's, but in the 90's at a yard sale. I bought a Jem-themed board game for a dollar. My older brother and his group of friends thought it was awesome (in a poking fun of it kind of way). Anyways, one thing led to another and a rock opera based on Jem and her boyfriend Rio was created. My brother and his friends were only seniors in high school but a local theatre company decided to put the show on. So yea. The rock opera named "Rio" was born. Written by a group of high school guys.

Here is the first episode:
