I'm such the avid blogger.

As one could probably tell, I am not a consistent blogger. This has been true ever since the old school diaries in first grade. I lost interest every time I started a diary, or blog. And the videos I have been embedding lately are hardly considered blogs. Posting pointless videos is just that, pointless.

Speaking of videos, I would like to apologize to all of my peers that put up with a video camera in their face all summer. Most of the videos taken should be, and will be, scrapped. Others are slightly adorable and will be saved. Some are semi worth editing. Only some though. And these will most likely be of no interest except for the people who appear in them. Click here if you think you might have been caught on film. Go ahead and 'Friend' me on YouTube. I'm curious as to who actually looks at it (all 67 of you).

I am also working on uploading the videos that I have been shooting at Northside. Fails every time due to a suck balls internet connection. Gawd, I love student discounts on wireless!

Finally, check out sxephil on YouTube. If you haven't already heard of him then I am honored to lead you in the right direction when it comes to watching witty and interesting videos online.

I drove to Kokomo and ended up in Chicago.

I have completely fallen in love with Chicago but I'm not 100% certain why the city intrigues me so much. Perhaps it is because I have only ever lived in cities/town/villages with populations under 100,000 (Most typically they have been around 20,000 although the latest was a whopping 1,200). Perhaps it is because my brother is there and I get along well with the people he surrounds himself with. Perhaps it is because one has the option of 'doing something' every night of the week. It has been a huge culture shock going to visit because I am used to and have been comfortable with the typical small town boredom. I have the option of moving there in June and although the idea excites me and is something I would love to do I also have some hesitations.

I moved to Columbus on a whim a couple of years ago and it was a disaster. Without going in to too much detail I left the city frustrated, depressed, and down $2,000. I do not want the same thing to happen if I decide to move to Chicago. Making sure I have a job lined up is, of course, my number one priority as well as my biggest worry. I have a couple of ideas of where I could work and am probably putting an excess amount of energy in to thinking about if I will get a job or jobs. I most likely will have no problems at all with that, but that's not to say it isn't a concern prodding me in the back of my head.

I have been visiting the city almost every weekend since late November. The latest trip was not even supposed to happen but I am so glad it did. I was driving to Kokomo, Indiana to visit my extended family and my cousin, Katie, and I decided to travel north for the night. We packed a cooler and drove the 3 hour trip singing the entire way. We arrived and decided to walk around with no real purpose as we had a few hours to burn until a show we were going to started. We risked frostbite, met a boy representing Greenpeace, got advice from a homeless man, and discovered the most adorable sushi 'hole in the wall' restaurant.

So as not to risk a lengthy blog entry I will post a picture from the night and bid you adieu.

Family Dinner

Anna comes over every Tuesday for Family Dinner. This is what we do while we wait for the food to be done... We mimic music videos that we enjoy watching.
